Mia started her professional career as a 16-year-old dancer in her native Boston.

With a renowned Ringling Brothers Barnum and Bailey Circus performer for a grandmother, a model mother, and a musician dad, Mia’s gravitation to the performing arts was no surprise.

After graduating cum laude from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst with a BA in Dance, Mia hightailed it to New York City, where she landed roles as a dancer touring nationally and internationally for more than a decade.

Mia reconnected with her circus roots by joining Cirque Le Masque as a rehearsal director, dance captain and stage manager. She also served as choreographer for many television and theater productions, and was the choreographer, on-set rehearsal director, and dance coach to Laura Ramsey for the feature film, ‘Whatever Lola Wants’ (Tribeca Film Festival, 2008). Mia’s dancing led her into the world of fitness
videos, where she has hosted more than a dozen shows, including On-Demand segments for Exercise TV, and as guest-host for HSN.

Traveling the world was always Mia’s dream, and it came true through her years of touring internationally. Easily engaged and amused, Mia learned that she could communicate easily in any corner of the world with patience, laughter and with no fear of looking ridiculous – and using hand signals.

She found her passion in meeting and talking to people from all walks of life, and realized this is what drew her to hosting, where she could scratch the itch to both entertain and talk to as many people as she could!

Mia loves her work and it shows. Her enthusiasm can be seen and heard in more than 30 commercials, pitching everything from The Optimum Rewards Card to Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines to Trojan to The New York Times.
